Cow’s milk comes in Whole Milk, Reduced Fat/low-fat Milk, Fat-Free Milk, Reduced-lactose Milk and Organic Milk. Fat-free milk contains less than 0.5 percent milk fat. For sports specific diets such as bodybuilding and weight loss, I recommend non-fat milk because it is more nutrient dense and has less saturated fat. For kids and other wellness diets, 1% is a good option; just make sure the fat from dairy is consumed in moderation.
